Delicious Swabian and good home-style food. Everything is just right here, the service, the rustic parlor, the taste, the portion size, etc. (Don't be surprised if you are already so full of a delicious pumpkin cream soup that you can't eat anything else.) I can highly recommend this soup, as well as the schnitzel or onion roast with delicious trollinger sauce. Very friendly conversation, with great pleasure again!

It was more by chance that we stopped here after a hard day's work and immediately found the atmosphere cozy. At the beginning there was a Naturally Cloudy Radler, which tasted very good ... But that was just the beginning of the culinary dream! For starters we treated ourselves to the Maultasche soup ... And what can I say, I've never eaten a better one. Powerful in taste and the Maultasche not too soaked. Then there was the homemade "schnitzel". TENDER! INTENSIVE! On the whole, incredibly tasty! The breading alone is a dream. I can warmly recommend all of this! And as a little tip: the delicious hazelnut schnapps 😊 goes perfectly with the aftertaste

In our opinion the best place for typical traditional Swabian food in Esslingen. Nice, uncomplicated staff, cozy living room and really delicious food. Simply a restaurant to feel good.

Nice ambience delicious food and very generous portions. Had an onion roast and schnitzel. The roast beef was excellent. With the schnitzel, the breading could have been a little fluffier.

Nice, good middle-class restaurant with a continuous kitchen (the only one in Esslingen with a continuous?) The mixed salads are especially great! Very tasty, great vinegar oil dressing and even with potato salad ... and the leaf salad ... fresh oak leaf ... to put in ...

No extraordinary menu, only cash payment, the food seems to be purchased by discounters, (the price are ok) but the old service lady was the really worst case with no idea what the daily menu was :(
